Many regard Ashburn, Virginia as where young families want to live.  However, in past few years, we have seen an influx of parents/ grandparents who want to be close to their family. Or folks that are not ready to retire but want to live or invest in an active adult community.

Apart from others active adult community in Ashburn blog post I have written in past here is another brand new community that will open its door for sales in January 2017.

Birchwood at Brambleton: Community will offer condominiums, courtyard homes and villas by Miller & Smith and Van Metre Homes will start from the $300s. Elevator options offer effortless access.

As per the Brambleton community website the active adult will have access to its own social focused community groups including book clubs, cooking classes, technology classes and more apart from all the phenomenon amenities that Brambleton already has to offer.  If you don’t want to consider active adult community Brambleton also offers townhomes with elevator. However the price point is significantly higher.
